Its hardness is between fused alumina and diamond. It has a higher mechanical strength than fused alumina. Green Silicon Carbide is produced in the same way as black silicon carbide, except for different raw materials. Its crystals have higher purity and hardness. It is suitable for processing carbide, metal and non-metal materials. It can be used as a special micro powder for wafer grinding and polishing. It can be used in special wire saw fine powders for the solar industry, the semiconductor industry and the piezoelectric crystal industry. In addition, Green Silicon Carbide is used for polishing and grinding of metallic and non-metallic materials.
